Hailing her roots from a family of renowned academicians, Shivangi had a penchant for literature since a very young age and as she grew up, she decided to give wings to her passion.
A graduate from MCM DAV College for Women and a postgraduate from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Shivangi specialises in the niche field of Gender Studies and British Literature.
Presently working as an Assistant Professor of English at KVA DAV College for Women, Karnal, Shivangi has carved a niche as an award-winning romance writer.
Excerpts from the interview:
Walk us through your journey in the shoes of an author and a professor. Is this something you always wanted to do?
I have always wanted to be a teacher as there is nothing more satisfying than empowering young minds to accomplish their long-cherished goals. My love affair with the written word began at a very young age. I was respected and admired by my friends for my amazing taste in books. Writing happened naturally when I realized that the stories and emotions buried deep inside my soul deserved to be unleashed. Moreover, I wanted to leave behind a meaningful legacy when my physical life ended.
