The zeal and fervor to help people become a better version of themselves and an unflinching passion for art eventually made Punya Sharma pave her way towards becoming a make-up artist. Ever since then, she is seen to be surpassing benchmarks in the region.
Excerpts from the interview:
What motivated you to become a make-up artist?
Ever since childhood, I had a knack for dolling up people and making them a better version of themselves. However, at that stage, I never thought of converting my passion into my profession. I pursued Bachelors of Arts with specialization in English and planned for moving abroad. During those days, I rarely used to go to college and rather sit at home and watch make-up tutorials and videos related to it on YouTube and before I could even realize it, I started practising make-up on my friends. Not only this, but I also used to practice make-up on my mom and her friends whenever they used to go out. I received immense appreciation and support from my family and friends which eventually motivated me to take the plunge and become a make-up artist.
