Making electronics affordable for every Indian household

Imagine a world where every Indian household has access to high-quality, branded electronics at prices that won’t break the bank. This is the vision that drives Lokesh Mittal, the co-founder of Liqo, India’s first and largest brick-and-mortar store chain for discounted electronics. From a small garage store with an initial capital of 50 Lakhs, Liqo has now become India’s largest discounted electronics store with a presence in more than 10 cities, crossing a turnover of Rs. 70 Crores.  In this exclusive interview, Mittal shares his story, vision, and strategies for success in a highly competitive market.

What is Liqo’s mission and vision? How does it differentiate from other brands?

Our vision at Liqo is to give a ‘Sapno ka upgrade’ to the lifestyle of Indian households by making branded electronics affordable. Our mission is to offer great savings, exceptional service, and a luxurious shopping experience to all customers by democratizing access to branded electronics. We understand the importance of convenience in today’s fast-paced world and strive to offer our customers the flexibility to shop on their terms. Liqo stands out from other brands by offering a wide range of affordable consumer durables, ensuring that the customers have access to high-quality products at an affordable price.

What inspired Liqo’s journey?

Our inspiration behind Liqo was to disrupt the traditional business model for electronics retail and provide a unique and innovative approach to purchasing electronics. Back in 2018, we were introduced to newer procurement avenues of consumer durables and discovered the untapped potential of this industry. We decided to invest in this space and create a business model that would benefit both the consumers and the industry. With Liqo, our aim is to help households in India upgrade their lifestyle without breaking the bank.
