With over two decades of experience in plastic, aesthetic, and cosmetic surgery, Dr Krishan Mohan Kapoor is a force to be reckoned with. He has performed over 20,000 procedures, published numerous articles in the medical journals and given training to more than 4000 doctors across five continents. Honoured with many awards and accomplishments, Dr Kapoor, a celebrity plastic surgeon, is the go-to-guy for latest cutting edge facial or body aesthetic procedures.
You’re reckoned to be one of the most sought-after Plastic Surgeon and Hair Transplant Surgeon in the region. Take us through your journey so far?
My journey to becoming a plastic surgeon started when I was in school, as I had a passion for art, science, and working on projects. After finishing my MBBS in 1994, I joined MS in General Surgery at Govt Medical Patiala to get exposure to every surgical speciality where I was attracted to the skill and creativity required to become a plastic surgeon. I trained in plastic surgery at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh (PGIMER), considered as the most excellent department of plastic surgery in India. I also did my additional qualification, Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Plastic Surgery where I focused on my speciality of aesthetic surgery.
