Jeweller for Generations

Owner Sham Jewellers: Mr. Gagan

Presenting a sneak-peak into the glorious journey of Sham Jewellers.

Five jewellery essentials which must go into a woman’s vanity box?
A pair of diamond solitaires and a pair of traditional danglers to adorn the ears, a cocktail ring and diamond bangles for the hands and an elegant choker to embellish the neckline, are the five essentials we suggest every customer to pick for her vanity box.

Tell us something about the journey of Sham Jewellers, so far?
Since 1975, we have been into the ethnic wear business. With the intention to expand further into the wedding wear business, we, Late Amarjeet Singh, Harinder Singh and Davinder Singh, decided to venture in the jewellery business in 1990. We met with five to six years of struggle, when we spent more than what we earned. Nevertheless, we kept at it and in some years, met with the break even point in the business. As luck would have it, in the years to come, we grew more and more and are proud to claim that at present, we run a very successful jewellery store chain. In 2010, we had an addition to our team with my nephew, Gagan Khurana, joining the business. Bringing in a younger perspective and energy, he helped us conquer greater heights. Presently we have been blessed with an ever increasing number of customers, encouraging us to open up newer and bigger stores. This in mind, we will soon be inaugurating a six story jewellery mall, adjacent to our present store in Sector 34, with an area of 30000 square feet and a customer capacity of 400 at a time. This mall would home all types of jewellery; gold, kundan, jadau, antique, polki, diamond jewellery and solitaires, etc. under one roof.
