Here’s an insider’s view into the ‘gorgeous’ journey of makeup artist, Komil Sethi

Makeup artist, Komil Sethi is certainly at the helm of redefining the exuberance of beauty in the north region, with her aesthetic artistry and passion for the makeup industry. Born in the non-descript town of Rajpura, Komil completed her higher education from SD School, Chandigarh followed by a graduation in Fashion Designing from Pearl Academy, Ludhiana. However, the omens guided her to move to the capital of the country to follow her inner-calling of becoming a makeup artist; and ever since then, she has built a glamorous career of celebrating beauty in all walks of life.
“Ever since my childhood, I was very fascinated by the fashion & makeup industry; but it was only when my sister, Aastha motivated me to pursue a course in Fashion Media Makeup from Pearl Academy, Naraina, when I finally gave wings to my dreams. Without any further ado, I enrolled for the course and fortunately, I got through. At that time, I used to freelance parallel to my course, and my first project was in Gurgaon for 7-8 NRIs and they loved it; which proved to be a great morale booster. So, I ensured an effective social media presence and started building my empire brick by brick,” reminisces Komil, who topped in her course at Pearl Academy, and has an array of accolades to her credit.
