“I could not be buried under books, colors kept calling me,” says makeup artist, Nobel Gurm
“Ever since I was a child, I had an itch for art. I think that comes from my father. He’s a doctor by profession but he could do wonders on canvas.
We had our makeup from Canada and I used to sneak out my mom’s stuff and paint it on my bestie, who recently, I dolled up for her wedding and it was like recreating my childhood; only this time I knew I was doing it right,” smiles Nobel Gurm.
“Tracing my father’s footsteps, I went for a science degree and did my Masters in Anthropology; but I could not be buried under books, colors kept calling me. I was happy savoring makeup for myself until my husband and mother encouraged me to take it up professionally,” adds Nobel, the Founder of Makeup by Nobel Gurm.
